A long time ago I had to cook for clients and forgot I was also cooking for myself: I had quickly thrown together onions and spices, left it on the cooker, and erm, forgot.
The entire thing was pretty erm, #caramelised when I remembered I had food & checked: it needed fluids ASAP. To prevent further damage (last onions) I decided to grab the remaining coffee nearby. I threw it on the protesting onions.
Later, I hesitantly took a bite.
It was delicious. Made it again.
