Got my circular saw and jog saw with me to sort out some old timber so I can actually use the new shed instead of it becoming a dumping ground for all sorts...

@callionica I need to dig around me old toolbox up at #carbeth I'm sure I have old chisels up there that haven't seen the light of day since the 80s....

I do have a couple of old draper chisles here, I also have an old record smoothing plane from back then.

An fpv drone would be great to record the progress of #carbeth, though I suspect its not gonna happen 😿

I have visions of #woodworking plans in my head....

But need to focus on on two or three, like a jointer, table saw and router table.
That way I can get #carbeth off to a flying start.

About to go up to #carbeth, haven't been up in a while since completing the shed.

I've bought some Gorrila sealing tape to plug any holes that didn't seal in the roof. I know there's gonna be a puddle in there....

I'm an ex-IT Professional who has taken early retirement.

I'm reintroducing myself to old things I wanted to do as a living but never got the chance. #woodworking is one of them.

Carbeth is my sanity, I'm renovating an old off-grid Hut.

I'm on a kind of De-Clutter spree, in spurts. So trying to sell old stuff.

I like #photography and want to start doing it again.

Okay, scurrying about in the loft a while back, I found this old saw... Still works BTW. Circa 1980s.

The red table saw insert beside it I bought for £16.98. I also bought some off cuts of osb boards for a couple of £s.

You see where I'm going with this, don't you....

Always wanted a table saw...

I'm pulling myself in all directions at once again...

I have 6 5ton bottle jacks waiting to be used at #carbeth to lift the hut up so I can replace the foundation beams, while taking the chance to look at the concrete pillars for problems.

Bit before I can do that I need to join 4 x 3m lengths of wood to make one huge 7m span of a beam.. Well 2 of them really...

Now I can get stuck into the actual Hut/Cabin restoration.

Sitting inside completed #shed YAY. Only a few points I'm seeing water ingress from the rain via roof.

I'll fix those another day as they are very slight.

Going home, not coming up here tomorrow. Having some time at home.
