I'm calling total BS on #CarbonOffsetting. It's a particularly damaging form of #Greenwashing. It does something we should be doing anyway in order to justify doing more of something we urgently need to stop. It condones and encourages bad practice while making good practice look like something above and beyond rather than an essential part of combatting #ClimateChange. There is no room left for bad practice. We are running out of time and we all need to be doing everything we can

The Royal Society for the Protection of Birds #RSPB is an excellent #UK #wildlife charity that has helped protect what's left of the UK's wild habitats.

Visit an RSPB reserve & as well as the wildlife, there you will find informed & enthusiastic RSPB staff (volunteers & employees)

But, the RSPB has fallen for #greenwash. In the RSPB magazine are business adverts selling overseas #holidays with #CarbonOffsetting.
