My #CarBootSale buys today were a little more sedate: car tyre pump, some pens (because I'm err running out), xbox one controller (it works!), disk box for @FishlockTony, some car wedges, some Topps X-Files cards, a Simon flash, some SD cards (small of size for retro bits) and a Multi Puzzle. A neighbour gave me one of these when I was a kid ... I loved it and spent hours playing with it. #Tetris before Tetris. It's all there too 😊

Not taking the child to the #CarBootSale again, he costs me too much 😡

A quick update just to catch up before we start to toot in earnest. This is an odd time of year, it seems everything closes down for Christmas and sales take a while to pick up, plus it is dark until late, usually bad weather, and cold - not very enticing to get us up at 6am for a #CarBootSale - either as a seller or as a buyer. But one of these days we may waddle over to Bushey ( http://busheywinterbootsale.co.uk/ )
- its every Sunday from 7am, though adult admission drops to £1 after 9am (its £2 before)

I'll probably never be at a point in my life where I'd sell things in a #CarBootSale, weird random thought.

I do have vage memories of being at one when I was a bairn..
