I don't understand meals that are basically nothing but noodles. I see a lot of recipes for things like "chili oil noodles" -- it's just noodles with a sprinkling of maybe green onions for color. Or noodles with various sauces on them, little else. Nothing but starch. Would I eat a loaf of bread and call it a meal? (I would not) When I make pasta, I tend to minimize the pasta base and maximize the sauce including large chunks of vegetables & often meat. #carbs #cooking
