MyPhoneExplorer läuft auch mit Wine, aber natürlich nicht mit dem Thunderbird-Abgleich. Vielleicht eh was antiquiert. aber wie dann elegant?
Vielleicht zu CardDAV in Thunderbird wechseln und https://github.com/sabre-io/dav (lokal oder Synology)? Andere tolle Ideen?

Thank you. My needs are far less than enterprise, more small business or familiar. I also use mostly the #carddav and #caldav functionalities.
I will reevaluate #owncloud as I'm pretty sure that the performance of a #golang implementation is at least an order of magnitude better than #nextcloud #php.

Gibt ne menge gute Lösungen dafür, und die sind auch nicht gebunden an beschissene #SingleVendor / #SingleProvider - Lösungen.
Für Kontakte gibt's #CardDAV als Synchronisationslösung sowie drölfzig Apps die das umsetzen!

Even though #protonmail and #tutanota are encrypted and #opensource their services work only with their own mail clients

Nun würdet ihr diese gerne mit wenigen Klicks im Adressbuch speichern und eine Gruppe zuweisen, damit ihr bequem neue Mails an diese Gruppe schreiben könnt (abgesehen von "antworten an alle"). Wie macht ihr das, ohne jede Adresse einzeln hinzuzufügen? Soweit ich das sehe, bietet thunderbird so eine Funktion nicht.
