I just went to Wellfield #Bookshop to pick up a couple of #books for my #TBR pile. It’s the closest #IndieBookshop to me and I can always buy something good from there.
I’ve seen Rivers of London by Ben Aaronovitch around for a while now, but it’s taken me this long to get it. I’ve also heard of The Tatami Galaxy by Tomohiko Morimi. Apparently it got turned into an #anime, but I know nothing more than that.

It's a sunny day in #Caerdydd and I went for a walk around Llanishen Reservoir. It's the first time I've been there in years.
You wouldn't think there was a place like this in the middle of #Cardiff. I remember when I was very young there was a campaign to stop the reservoir from being drained for housing.

What a lovely photo! Taff Vale Railway locomotive No.267.
It was built by Hudswell Clarke in 1867 and numbered 107 by the TVR.
Subsequently renumbered 267 in 1892 and rebuilt in the Cardiff Works 1895-96 as solitary member of the ’S’ Class.
Finally scrapped by the GWR in 1926.

I love this. I'm extremely shit at #chess but I love to play and more boards in public spaces would be wonderful.
As far as I'm aware, we have exactly one public board like this in #Cardiff's parks, just outside the secret garden cafe in Bute Park — and it has no seating and I've never seen it in use.
