Claims to “fame*”
(1) My boss sent me a grant narrative that was twice as long as the character limit. I cut it in half. She said she couldn’t figure out what I cut.
(2) She also asked me to draft her response to breaking news about a crisis relevant to our work. She added one comma & sent it out.
(3) I routinely edit policy responses that are written at Post-grad reading level to polished papers at ~ grade 10.
