Thankful today for:
-moments when my husband isn’t coughing
-hearing him snore, yes I said that but seeing him rest peacefully is a blessing
-getting a new stack of books from the library

Here’s something. In caring for my husband, there are many specialists. They don’t talk to each other, they ask me to call each one, get the info & report back. I certainly feel part of the team but not as an equal. In addition to the care I provide as a #Caregiver, I am also the communication channel for the specialsts. #CaregiversKnow that we provide free labour, receive little support & experience deficits to our own health.

I tell people that due to my husband’s complex medical conditions, he cannot be home alone. And they respond as if they completely understand. Then they invte me to go out? SMDH🤦🏼‍♀️ #CaregiversKnow
