i am irked by the use of tree metaphors for conveying a deep sense of unity in and with the #anthropocene or as a root of all wisdom on being.. but i just got way too moved by a passage on how hybrid plants with separated parents still thrive in places where one of the parents may have disappeared due to exogenous factors in the passage of #deeptime #careofthespecies
