Mom fell in the bathroom last night, and I had to call for some volunteer firefighters to get her off the floor.

She is OK. This morning, she is hyperly emoting and exuding all over the place so I know she's OK.

I got no sleep. So I'm a bit punch drunk and ADHD magpie flitting all over the place.

Ugh, would my computer PLEASE not die now, I really don't have the funds to get a newer one with all of Mom's dental work coming up....

Me: (walking into Mom's room) OK, so I know I'm supposed to be the responsible one --
Mom: (interrupting) Why?
Me: ....
Mom: ....
Me: OK, I'm ordering lunch.
Mom: Lovely, thank you.

We're both are tired and in pain from a busy week, and while I probably shouldn't because her root canal is not covered by insurance, I am just too tired and in too much pain to cook today.

I have gotten her up, showered, dressed, fed, and we're about to head out the door.

This may be the first time she's not fought going to any kind of doctor in literally years.

Today is going to be unfun.

Saturday evening Mom said she thought she had a broken tooth, asked me to put my finger in her mouth. I declined.

Sunday she suddenly was sure she had TWO broken teeth.

(she is still eating normally)

Today we have a 1pm dental appointment with our friend of 20+ years, so I'm hoping he can clean her teeth and calm her down.

Yesterday's doctor's appointment went. *shrug* I was only there because they said I had to be, so I admit I could've been less closed mouth. Doctor dude did what he could. He meant well. Sometimes that's the best we can do.

This morning I need to go to the drug store and the grocery store. Then this afternoon I'll make bread (I'll post the recipe in another toot).

Slept poorly due to weird dreams. Will have to back off the melatonin for a few days.

Got a doctor's appointment today so they''ll keep giving me my blood thinners.

Proud of myself for writing two chapters yesterday. We're in the endgame (of the 2.0 patches, anyways) now. ;-)

I've made coffee and pulled down some cheap stew meat (hooray for local butchers who put stuff on sale) to do something with this weekend.
