@pflegekraft Anhänger wie #CarlaCargo usw. haben Zuladungen bis 200 kg, sind mit Feststellbremse am Vorderrad und einer Auflaufbremsen mit Scheibenbremsen an den Hinterrädern ausgestattet, kosten aber auch entsprechend und sind eher für den Gewerblichen- als den Privatenbetrieb gedacht.

Hi #EBike and #Education community - I’m looking for examples of schools that have started using cargo e-bikes to transport people and things between school properties, rather than cars/vans/trucks.

I’m especially interested in economic analysis (before and after) as I suspect bikes will prove to be much more financially responsible than vehicles.

Context: advocacy in my local Santa Cruz school district.

Steph did her first #Costco run by #ebike today! It was also her first time using the #CarlaCargo trailer. Have I mentioned that I married well?

👍 Easy. She said it was similar to biking with the surfboard trailer.

👍 Costco member services didn't push back when she kept on her N95 #mask for the membership card photo.

👎 Only about 10% of people were masking. Hope everyone else has good long-term care insurance!

Delivering a friend's new #MovedByBikes kayak/surf trailer with a #CarlaCargo cargo trailer. ⚡️🚲

Today I tested the process of hauling my wife's Tern GSD #ebike on the #CarlaCargo trailer.

It worked well!

Here's how I loaded & secured it:

1. Set trailer parking brake.

2. Load Tern backwards, so that the heaviest part of the GSD is between the trailer's wheels.

3. Small strap for the GSD's rear wheel.

4. Medium-length cargo straps, one on each side, attached to the GSD frame behind the seatpost.

5. Medium strap for front wheel.

5. Looped steel cable from GSD's cafe lock to trailer.
