The planet is burning, Galway City is a car-clogged mess, and Galway City Council have just spent €3,500,000 on 200 car parking spaces, and committed another €50k p/a to rent a further 50 spaces, all so they can move out of their city centre location, close to the bus station and train station, to an out of town industrial park.
