Starting with nearly 40 saplings sprouted from seeds collected in the #carmelvalley suburbs, 20 have survived, and most are exhibiting browning and other signs of strain. #Monterey "County Supervisor Mary Adams, whose district includes #Carmel Valley, says that despite initial skepticism, she’s now 'very comfortable' with using public-private partnerships to shore up local #infrastructure.

Nice end to the day today at #Folktale #Vineyard #Winery in #CarmelValley #California at #sunset. The lower clouds were stationary while the upper clouds were ripping by heading north at a very fast rate. The edge of the clouds was maybe 10 miles west of us at the most. I think we'll just have a few showers tonight and temps in the high 30s in #Monterey.

If you need some wine on the #MontereyPenninsula , this winery does not suck.
