“Supernatural” (1933) 2/4 - #CarolLombard felt her talents were better suited to comedy, and she wasn’t thrilled with this production. Her wry smile throughout may be one of malicious compliance, but it works in a strange way. While the plot is convoluted and overly reliant on coincidence, there are plenty of anxieties that its telling reveals as well as enough #PreCode salaciousness to warrant a watch. https://archive.org/details/supernatural_202108
