That change "saves" time or rather, since individual player don't need to come up with both, it offers more time for them to come up with their rumor or thorn trivia.

It still "pauses" the ongoing mystery/investigation but then unravelling the surrounding mysterie(s) (made up rumors) is as much the purpose of #RosewoodAbbey, maybe even slightly more than in #BrindlewoodBay.

I'm currently writing a #CarvedinBrindlewood mech game emulating the feel of Neon Genesis Evangelion, and I just realized I'd written a move which could lead to descriptions of suicide, of one of the PCs no less.

Now I'm arguing whether to keep it that way. On the one hand, it isn't totally against the tone or spirit of the game, but on the other hand, jeez, it's dark. It's really dark.
