I feel today the sense of loss from not being able to find people here I followed on #BirdSite.

I'm disappointed. I feel lost. It's like starting a new job after many years in the old job. #CognitiveDissonance-- something is missing.

So, just like a new job, I'm making new connections with new people.

To do that I search my interests, repost posts I like, and reach out in little ways.

I will never regain what I lost, but will create something new
