I’m returning to teaching soon with the occasional casual day. It has been way too long since I did casual teaching and having a baby has melted my brain.

Please share tips on how to walk into a classroom and start building on relationships. I don’t want to go in too hard but I’m also not a pushover. I am very familiar with the school (I was a temp there before maternity leave) and behaviour policies, plus who to escalate to.
