‘We verrichten structureel werk dat elk jaar nodig is, toch laten ze ons aan het eind van onze tijdelijke contracten gaan,’ stelde Casual UvA toen. Deze voortdurende cyclus van het aannemen en vervangen van docenten leidt tot baanonzekerheid, laag loon, weinig carrièrekansen en slechtere onderwijskwaliteit, aldus de actiegroep. ‘Wij zijn geen wegwerpdocenten.’
