We're talking to a cat #foster about adopting. We can only take two, max. There are three siblings. Foster is cool with us taking just two - she doesn't think it's likely that all three can find a home together - but thinking about separating them is breaking my heart. Conflicted. #CatAdoption

2022 had the best possible end for me. I volunteer at a cat rescue. Friday afternoon the rescue posted a picture of a very old, sick cat that had been rescued from extreme neglect. I cried, thinking of her spending her last days at a shelter. But when I got there Fri evening for my volunteer shift, she was in the process of being adopted! The cat's story had really tugged at me and had me in tears, first of sad then of joy as the cat went home with her new mamas. #catadoption #goodnews
