I'm seeing a lot of discussion on the birdsite about the #pandemic's correlation to increasing road accidents, with the idea that reduced cognitive capacity from #covid infection is likely playing a role.

Is there any data about an increase in #StreetHarassment and #covid? Because, honestly, since 2020, that's the biggest thing I've noticed. #Catcalling has always been an issue, but only since the pandemic have I had men scream at me, follow me, and chase me down the street after I asked them to leave me alone in response to their demeaning and inappropriate random comments.

Before the pandemic, I'd maybe only have a random guy get really scary about once a year, but it feels like it's happening to me once a month now.

Has anyone else noticed this?
