One of the important parts of is the opportunity it provides to foster collaborations. Monday evening's Town Hall meeting convened by USGS-based Jamie Shanley, who is also a Big Data Cluster collaborator, was designed to do just that.

Conveners brought together the community to brainstorm ways to expand the source and quality of data and outline future workshops to expanding knowledge of these watersheds.
