I saw something recently that said every child in the UK has a caterpillar cake & the teen has never had one. So when their only cake request was “pretend I’m actually 3” it was the obvious choice for this year’s cake.

What I lack in decorating skills I make up for in quantity of sugar! No one ever complains though. There’s a (hopefully) rather nice coconut & lemon Swiss roll underneath all of it.
