Sit or stand and let God look at you.
Breathe in God's love
Breathe out into God how you are right now.
Ask for God's light as you look over the day.
What makes you glad? Breathe it in.
What makes you sad? Let yourself feel it. Do not be afraid.
Breathe in God's love.
What do you need to help you? Let God know.

Lord we worship you because you are the God of miracles. We give thanks for those amazing miracles that you perform every day and which we take for granted. We thank you for the miracle of each breath that we take; the miraculous beauty of the flowers and animals around us; and for the miracle of love and peace.

I search for an inner peace to look with serenity at the things that have happened today. What positive feelings did I experience today? I give thanks to God for them. What moments did I feel anxious or perturbed in? I confide in the Lord with what preoccupied me. I plan to express my gratefulness to someone tomorrow. Hail Mary.

I put myself in the presence of Jesus and thank Him for the day I have lived. I praise Him in particular for the most beautiful thing that has happened today. I reflect: how many people have worked, given their time, intelligence, and strength for the good that I have enjoyed during the day? Am I thankful for it?

The day comes to a close and I look back over what I have experienced through my heart's lens. I remember gratefully the faces of those who were present today, sharing their day with me. Who were those people? I thank you Lord for their lives that reflect something of yours. I ask your forgiveness for the occasions when I have been indifferent to their needs.

My day is coming to an end and I thank you, Lord, for all that took place. Before resting, help me to look back over it again with you. What have I received from you? What have I given to others? Thank you for the light of the grace of your presence and for your Word that you have given me to live and share with others. I ask your forgiveness for my failures. Tomorrow is another day; help me to follow you more. Hail Mary.

Loving Jesus, thank you for your commitment to healing and compassion, even when the work was dangerous for you to do. Give inspiration and courage to those who serve in unsettled environments today, and surround them – all those who they serve – with your protection and peace. Amen.

Jesus, you were born as a baby and grew as a child, dependent on those who cared for you. Help me to share your humility, even as I stand for truth and justice. Teach me to stay open, honest and curious, loving even my neighbour who disagrees with me. Amen.

Thank you, God, for the intrinsic value and worth you give to all without exception. Give me courage to acknowledge the ways in which I benefit from unjust systems, and to repent of the ways in which I’ve upheld them. Help me now to be part of the tearing down of inequalities. Amen.
