My #Catio will be closed in about 20 minutes due to #ExessiveHeat. I don't like being stuck inside all day, especially since all the drapes are closed 😿. @GertrudeZane We're avoiding the hellish #Heat . #Catio has been closed since 11:00 AM though. It's really BAD. But cat daddy has stocked up on fuses, food, n ice. Mom has her ice packs in the freezer n us pets are getting extra cool water with our meals n treats.

@Lojie The relief is incredible. We had 3 eight minute sessions about an hour after an extra large but light breakfast of fish so they were both running on full bellies. But we are out of our calming drops 😱 so it was a risk. They were even able to share about 3 minutes of #Catio time before a neighbor cat sauntered by and that got Stevie agitated so I whisked Betty inside. She doesn't yet know how to use the cat flap.

We've had a major break through on this EXHAUSTING #SlowCatIntro. #TabbyCat #Stevie & 🐈#TuxieGirl #Betty 🐈‍⬛ have been FINALLY sharing the open space of the house w/out a barrier. Betty did VERY well, Stevie was understandably hissy and low level growly, but NO BLOOD & NO CHASING! 😸😃😃 #CatsOfMastodon. No photos cuz staff needed both hands to keep them safe. #Catio flap will remain open in both directions except at night.

#TuxieTuesday I spend most of my time foraging for food. Nobody EVER feeds me at this hotel. And even if they do, the portions are woefully inadequate. Luckily, I'm a really good forager!
