The puppies met cats today, and it was so very polite and calm =) Mochi is perfect for things like this, he loves attention but is not too pushy unless "provoked" (asked to play).

Got some cat toys in the mail today, ultra cheap plastic springs. Mochi is IN LOVE! They have just the right bounce and are easy to carry. Of course he prefers the pink one 😜

Mochi is very interested in and especially old games with lots of weird sounds and movements. If you put on a YouTube clip for him he will watch the whole thing.

We are all just waiting for the to be born right now. Some more than others... I don't expect this guy to understand what hits him, even when he is put to the task of cat-proofing the little buggers. Mochi is all kinds of (and then some), but there is not a mean bone in his body, so I definitely trust him with puppysitting.

Every time Tibbs is in my crafts room he paws at his reflection in the shiny wall mounted heater. It used to hang in our living room before we moved, where it was ignored by His Meowesty so why it suddenly is something he has to act out on it now is a mystery to me. And so it begins. I suffer from chronic pain, and winter is always the worst. I usually fall apart during or just after Christmas (depending on temperature and other stress factors), so despite very low stress the freezing cold got me. Thankfully I often have a cat to keep me company in bed, and my Kindle won't run out of reading material any time soon!

I bought a sheep-peel for one of my chairs in my crafts rooms downstairs (the room without heated floors), and while some of my friends thought I had skinned one of my cats, others thought here was a big dog sitting there. I think a lot of my friends needs new glasses/less crazy imaginations ;P
