A day or two ago, I was taking a daynap, but this cat was pawing and clawing at my noggin so I would roust and do my job of providing nonstop rubs. For a bit I would bury my noggin in my pillow but that didn't work so I shut my room's door.

Snuck into #caturday in its waning hour! This morning I was noticing an unusual cat sound, and found our cat Nat and a cat visiting from a proximal yard having a talk through glass. Nat did ask rly rly rly rly RLY strongly that I crack that door, but I did not, disappointingly.

Upon my arrival, visitor cat had a strut back to its own turf-- too bad, as I'd happily say hi to it with a rub and/or kitty snack. It owns a human who has a spot in back of ours, who calls it Bobokins.

Two #CatsOfOulipo today if I may?

A shy boy, Dash (contrasting colors) runs from unknown humans, but is cool as a kumquat with cats. His big fun is in a sock box, making glorious ruin of sock organization, and also in snuggling against humans within warm quilts.

I call that gray lady a non-Oulipan word for a small rattish animal (ironically a canonical cat hunt victim). That cat, whom I bond with tightly, is most grumpy, particularly at any risk to our cat food supply chain...

@nv Wasabi looks uncannily similar to my tabby cat, and your cat’s backdrop looks uncannily similar to what’s on my futon. My tabby is an ultra-snuggly but also awfully timid cat who miaous a bit. Look, sibling cats! Sadly I cannot say what I call said cats. Not for privacy, but... you probably know why. I will say that I am fond of naming cats for tasty plant flavors. Tabby for a citrus found in a particular British hot drink, and black sibling for gin’s main flavor. #CatsOfOulipo

This is Wasabi, an old but still bratty and chatty cat. On warm nights, Wasabi and I stroll around our building's courtyard.

Right now Wasabi is snoozy and cuddly.

Nat (Natasha) is a small gray who charms with nonstop curious play. Mornings, Nat knocks things slowly off my nightstand, giving pointy looks until I aim a straight-light gizmo for fun.

Nat insists to go out to joyfully, pouncily hunt flying stripy bugs (oozy-yummy-gold-making bugs), which works out as you think, without daunting Nat from going again, puffy paws or no...
