I'm always struck when Chris sang with someone else how he would sing to blend, not to showboat. He had such a powerful voice but didn't seem to ever feel the need to prove it. He just did it.
His death hit me very hard. SuperUnknown was the first popular music CD I ever purchased and it basically sat in my player on repeat for all of 1995 and 1996.
