Oh, look what the cats dragged in- a thoroughly gnawed on huge chunk of pork leg. These street cats get inside our garage and have a party while we sleep. I guess I should be grateful it wasn't something black, hairy, and with a long tail... like it was a few days ago. #cattales

I bought an advent calendar from Trader Joes for the cats. They were initially confused, but we're now at the point where they stand by the cabinet where I locked it up several times a day and meow at me. I'd say it was a hit. Bunny waits a bit to hear the perforated rip sound as I open up that day's treats. While the treats are the same thing every day but in different shapes, they don't care! #CatParent #CatTales

I met this handsome fellow yesterday while waiting for my daughter to finish her speech therapy. His name is Titus and he kindly sat with me till his next client arrived.

Cat Tales: I've been trying to get Bunny and Clyde to chill when I have to clip their nails with a combination of patience and treats. Today I managed to clip one claw on each of them without a nip or too much complaint! Yes, that IS progress. Bunny has no problem poking me with her claws but does NOT want them touched. At ALL. I'm on track to get all ten on each clipped by February maybe, ha! #CatTales #CatParent

Cat Tales: Of all the kitters that have lived with me, these two scamps are actually respectful of time changes. I'm convinced Bunny can read the clock and knows what a "7" looks like. That's when she begins her gentle claw-poking to wake me up (sees bare skin, pokes it.) Once I stir, Clyde will plop on my chest and yell at me. But this is all at a respectable hour and not 5am like other kitties have done. The balance is they wreck my apartment on the daily! :D #CatTales #CatMom #CatParent

Cat Tales: So Clyde found the toy bucket again. The toy "bucket" is actually a silicone Death Star meant for making popcorn in the microwave. Anyway, he knows it's most efficient to just throw the whole thing on the floor so everything spills out. #CatTales #CatMom #CatParent
