Today we begin the first recce for the year long study of the Leithii's soft shell turtles🐢 in #Cauvery South #Wildlife #Sanctuary that might be more recognisable for #Hogenakkal water falls.
Kenneth Andersen Nature Society (#KANS), Indigenous Biodiversity Foundation (#IBF) & Wildlife Institute of India (#WII) are collaborating with the Tamil Nadu Forest Department to study these endangered species.
