A few weeks ago I bought a #CayinRU6 #R2R dongle DAC to be my main DAC for my desktop setup. The #RU6 is smallest discrete R2R #DAC I’m aware of and it’s surprisingly affordable too.
I just found my #Moondrop KXXS IEMs that my cat knocked over and hid under a radiator for four months. I’m impressed by how much of an improvement it is over my already pretty good DAC/amp. Much smoother and the bass is fantastic. I highly recommend the RU6, it’s the best way to dip your toes in an R2R DAC.
