@train @josh Because I have a feeling that ZFS is better under FreeBSD. And I want to snapshot the VMs with ZFS. I think bhyve is stable enough to go that path. I use CBSD to manage bhyve. https://github.com/cbsd/cbsd #cbsd
Letzte Woche im Labor, diese Woche auf dem Feld in Tansania: Screening von doppelt resistenten Cassava-Varianten unter Realbedingungen.
Last week lab work in Germany, this week field work in Tanzania: Screening the dual resistant #cassava clones #CBSD #CMD and the progeny of Col 40 cassava under high pressure of the #whiteflies in field trail in #Tanzania

@mingwei not sure about web uis, but thereโs #CBSD https://cbsd.io/ and #BastilleBSD https://bastillebsd.org/ for straightforward jails management.

Another chapter in our BIG Story to understand more #CBSD and #CMD and highlight the #resistant #cassava genotypes is there๐ฟ
And the story will continue with

@nicolewolverton I don't know, I put Central Bucks up as a likely possibility. #CBSD has gone MAGA crazy these past few years. Very #Ivermetcin vibe over there.

A little #cbsd update for your Friday afternoon. New rainbows on rocks outside the three high schools. The superintendent recently said pride flags in classrooms are โtoo political.โ

@meka Also, based on what I have read on the #cbsd github issue about IPv6, this episode could help you with DHCPv6:
https://packetpushers.net/podcast/ipv6-buzz-093-dissecting-dhcpv6/
I just finished to read all #cbsd documentation on https://cbsd.io.
Sent some PR on it and in the next few days, I will try to setup a lab with CBSD. Maybe I will write a blog post about it. IDK yet. :bloblewd:
@meka
I can see that and I'm going to open an issue where I can put my ideas and help the project. :blobaww:
Also a PR is coming soon with some fixes like typos and little arrangement to use more Markdown when necessary. It's just some littles changes since I have some suggestions but I'm not sure if it's relevant.
I will let the team review what I have done. :blobcatcoffee:
I'm actually reading all the #cbsd documentation since yesterday. :blobcheerbounce:
I'm currently reading the #CBSD documentation from front to back.
I expect to try it tomorrow on my test machine. ๐
bon #cbsd pour creer des #jails ou des #vm sur un host #freebsd c'est tres sympa https://www.bsdstore.ru/en/installing_cbsd.html :-)
Just watching the #CBSD talk at #FOSDEM2021 and seeing its growth from a small jail manager to what it is, I feel there might be some interest to the #FreeBSD project there.

@farhan so Android emulation at least works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zq2rYQ84DiQ
You may not use #CBSD but it doesn't matter, as you can do the same with your jail/bhyve manager of choice and qemu. Good luck!
I still didn't find time to play with bhyve inside jail, although #CBSD supports it: https://github.com/cbsd/cbsd/commit/26c7acefae959f19f4191fc40a5858e39eeacd96
It's going to be fun!
@saper @MacLemon I submitted the talk about just that. OK, about #CBSD/Reggae, to be exact, but I want to talk about internals and what #FreeBSD and @HardenedBSD features and technologies we use. Also, Ansible is just one of the supported provisioners.
@MacLemon @qbit in #CBSD/Reggae I use jail connector while in dev/devops stage, SSH for updating them on server using ProxyCommand. For that to work, my host SSH listens on egress and lo interfaces only. On my laptop, SSH is configured to listen only on lo and PF redirects SSH port on egress to lo.
Of course, it's not CBSD/Reggae specific, so I'd love to hear what other people think about it and use on their servers.
@MacLemon https://github.com/mekanix/backend-startkit. If you dare to install #CBSD/Reggae, all you need to do is type "make" in that directory. Otherwise, run "bin/devel.sh".
