Best live show I saw this year? #CBSO #WaltDisneyHall with Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla. A perfect storm of fine #orchestra, superb hall & amazing conductor. As their Managing Director said to me, the band is so happy to be touring after Covid and in the CA sunshine. #classicalmusic

There are few things that make my life feel immediately better than having my music on shuffle and Walter Weller's #CBSO recording #Beethoven's 7th Symphony comes on.
I don't even really mind which movement (and yes, on shuffle, it's the way I like it).
Funny thing is, I don't actually like Beethoven on the whole and much prefer something a couple of hundred years older or more...
