The Climate Change Performance Index #CCPI is an instrument to enable #transparency in #national and #international #climate #politics.
#Switzerland falls seven places to 22nd place, meaning it is no longer among the CCPI high performers and now ranks medium overall. The country receives a medium for all four main CCPI categories: GHG Emissions, Renewable Energy, Energy Use, and Climate Policy.

According to Climate Action Tracker, Canada's rating on Climate Finance measures are Highly Insufficient, same goes for Policies/Action which is said to possibly lead to 4C of warming.

Climate Change Performance Index #CCPI vergleicht die Performance von Industrienationen beim #Klimaschutz. Der Vergleich wird in Prozentwerten ausgedrückt, wobei sich die Werte aus einem einheitlichen Bewertungsschlüssel zusammensetzen (40% #Treibhausgas-#Emissionen, 20% Ausbau #Erneuerbare, 20% #Energieverbrauch u. 20% #Klimapolitik).
#Deutschland ist aktuell drei Plätze zum Vorjahr zurück gefallen auf Platz 16.
