The EPP status is #serverRenewProhibited 🙁
In my opinion, they should have grandfathered you in, or offered to transition you to the second level domain equivalent since it was their change.
I hope this style of bait-and-switch registrar policy change doesn't become common with new #gTLDs

@dangillmor after all, some organizations and institutions ban the #gTLD's .gov, .mil, .edu and #ccTLD's like .kp for ages, if not all known #MILINTEL IP adress allocations.

1037 followers · 361 posts · Server mstdn.socialGetting access to #ccTLD zone data is like pulling teeth. Unlike #gTLD zones (which are available via ICANN's https://czds.icann.org/), each #DNS operator makes their own decision about granting access to the data, and most of the time it's "nope".
But several do make (some) data available. I'm now collecting that information here:

Go poke network packets for the .de #ccTLD at #DENIC. You get to play with a global anycast installation, at the 3rd largest TLD. They'll need you to be in European timezones, and preferably in Germany itself. Nice place to work, good team, etc.
