I already don't like Mandy Cohen , the new #CDC Director.

She has given differing dates at different appearances of when the vaccine will be ready.

She says the new super-mutated variant is not cause for alarm.

She says our detection mechanisms are working.

All her words are designed to downplay. I don't hear anything coming from her that is clearly communicating science.

It's all spin.

And the last thing we need from the CDC is spin.

The #CDC seems to have forgotten they have ONE job. Hint to the #CDCDirector : your job is protecting public health, not corporate wealth.
