It feels to me like the the project of legitimizing Poilievre’s fascist politics in polite public relations discourse of the Ottawa bubble really hinges of concocting the fiction of Trudeau as a progressive “activist”. Obviously, Trudeau has been one of Canada’s historical champions of corporate welfare. Anyone can see that.
