I'm selling a Marantz CD-52 Mk II CD Deck (not working) on eBay in the UK in case anyone is interested - it powers up and the CD tray opens & closes, but it doesn't actually seem to play CDs. I haven't attempted any repair.

I haven’t owned a CD player in at least 15 years–and I’ve missed it ever since.
For a while I thought a well-kept digital library would satisfy me, but the explosion of available content and the ever-degrading user experience (I’m looking at you, Spotify and Apple Music) has killed the simple joy of listening to an ALBUM without any other distraction.
No system or format is perfect. But the CD enduring qualities are, for me, its focus and simplicity.
