I finally got it working and I'll write a blog post about it if I'm not too lazy. I still don't fully understand how it all works. My next step is getting it to work for more than one project.

I still appreciate open source contributors and people who post info online - no anger here but I just haven't gotten this one to work
I think it would be better to use cron
Am I missing something that would make it less complicated ?

The individual tasks weren't horrible, but definitely a lot of work...
But trying to do integration tests has proved to be difficult to say the least. Since you need to be able to mock calls, it needs to run in the context of the test suite, but just running it inline and not through a worker it doesn't run as it will in production so you might miss things.
Overall it's been a very painful experience #celery #unittesting

#Turmeric is a favorite spice of mine as it adds dramatic #color and amazing #flavor to #food. It is also a great anti-inflammatory and I add it to #celery and #carrot #juice for a nice morning boost.

I'm deploying to Heroku which requires the binary, hence using it also in development.
Have you moved to psycopg2-binary v2.9.6?
If so, do you also have the problem where the celery worker falls over on the first interaction with the Django ORM? I get it on 2 different computers, but not on Intel.

Going to incorporate reviewer suggestions and new features that we've built since submissions before sharing the paper itself.
Meanwhile, I've have been hacking on RateMyPDF to add more useful #plainLanguage and #readability suggestions. Biggest issue is supporting larger uploads. Integrating tasks and a job queue with #Flaskand #Celery is a new one for me.
