Getting more comfortable here and so it’s time for an ?
I never planned on doing a PhD and certainly not on staying afterwards. But somehow I got hooked on and and especially , more recently also s. So I stopped my high school teacher career and here I am… And if research also doesn’t work out I might pursue a career in integrin-themed cakes

Question to and fans, I'm writing my dissertation and I love adding some historical sparks. Shame on me, but I can't seems to find which group did the first ever biochemical characterization of integrin adhesions. (I mean, purification of the complexes)

@soragnilab @MingqingCai @biorxivpreprint the problem with author-selected keywords is they are not helpful unless selected from a controlled vocabulary (e.g. will not show up in a search for ) and then you have to decide/agree on and maintain the taxonomy (which is a nightmare). it's feasible for things like Human Phenotype Ontology, but that's the exception rather than the rule. search normally solves things but here that just means we're back to the original issue

Hello, this is Jose M de Pereda and I run a research group at the Center for Cancer Research in (Spain) ( ).
We study the structural and mechanistic basis of based complexes (mostly ) and of signaling. Knowing in detail how these molecular systems work is essential to understand how they are altered in diseases.
We do multidisciplinary research: , and a bit of

Added @mechanobio to this bot series. This one was more tricky, as it selects abstracts mentioning molecules/structures (, ) and some mechanics/morphogenesis. There's still room for improvement, don't hesitate to comment! @bortzmeyer @DavidBrueckner
