So the penultimate day of #CellBio22 was pretty full-on. Started with a terrific talk from Don Cleveland as the recipient of the E.B. Wilson Prize. He did a split talk between neurodegenerative disease therapies and chromothripsis in cancer. Then it was a melee of talks, posters and catching up with @binyam and @jorgeferreira in the hubbub of the main hall. I got a ton of new ideas and tips for our work.
Amazing talk by Don Cleveland talking about his work on DNA drug to target neurondegenerative diseases and work on ecDNA formation in cancer - showing chromothripsis in micro nuclei drives formation! Fascinating #cellbio22
The session starts in 1.5 hours....hope to see you there today.

I'll be talking in this subgroup about how mammalian cells maintain cytoplasmic density. I measure single cell mass and volume for whole cell cycle and show existence of density homeostasis. How does that happen? How are mass and volume coupled? #cellbio22 @ASCBiology https://twitter.com/buenoscience/status/1598412992416485377

Amazing Porter Lecture by @JuanBonifacino just now at #CellBio22. Lysosome transport in neurons supplemented with a cat video off the internet. Inspirational work from the Bonifacino work over the years.
If you're at #CellBio22 this week, do come and say hello to us at the @Co_Biologists booth (#1825). You can pick up some FocalPlane goodies and find out about joining our #microscopy community.

Great talks in the first session #CellBio22. Mitochondria-ER contact site dynamics (lovely images and analysis) by Christopher Obaya. Valentina Štimac showed how polar chromosomes are slow to move to pole and how they flip to get aligned.
Both great examples of inferring new sub cellular behaviours simply by observing (albeit with very clever tech). #CellBiology
On my run this morning I saw Mike Lacy, Abe Lincoln, 3 rats and a hawk(!) eating a rat. Great start to Day 2 at #CellBio22
#CellBio22 I will be participating in the "Communicating Visually" roundtable tomorrow (Monday). Lorena Benedetti and Janet Iwasa are chairing.
Location: Roundtables, Exhibit Halls AB
Date: Monday, Dec 5 1:00 PM
Feel free to ask me about going "From Microscope To Figure"

Hey all! Recently left Twitter and moved here - still building follower base. ICYMI - we have two cool new #drosophila projects represented in posters at #ascb2022 #cellbio22

Nuclear mechanotransduction session literally blew my mind...so many cool studies!! Thanks to all the speakers and the organisers #cellbio22 @ASCBiology
I’m here at #CellBio22 and looking forward to the firehose of #CellBiology research. Already bumped into some friendly faces.
OK I just screened a whole bunch of cell biology preprints on bioRxiv which I'm guessing is related to #CellBio22 starting on Saturday.
