I was one of 20,000 New Zealanders or orgs that made a submission on the last attempt by the current New Zealand government to enact an oppressive law against so-called “Hate Speech.”

80% of the submissions were against it, and rightly so.

IMO you cannot make a Hate Speech Law that will not add to divisiveness and unrest - due to the subjectiveness of concepts of what is hateful or offensive.
