The opening of the #centralsubway in #sanfrancisco is coming closer and closer, so my #transitmap needed an update too. Now with parks and better transfer symbolism.

@bridgeunit 1000% and i don’t disagree with anything said here. i just wanted to point out that the project had a champion and advocate for accessibility to chinatown, and that advocate was Rosa Pak. if we only could advocate like this for an entire city with the same kind of ferocity

It's been great to see all the coverage of the new #CentralSubway but I think the photos of our Transit Director @JeffreyTumlin in his Central Subway themed suit is the highlight! Long live #PublicTransit

@jeanpaul Yes! As I rode through the curve I was thinking of digging that tunnel past/under the buildings at the corner of 4th, Stockton, and Market #CentralSubway

Opening day for SFMTA's #centralsubway ! Just shuttle service for now, but the T will eventually go from Sunnydale to Chinatown.

It was so cool to see the new shiny stations. I wish the platforms were built big enough to accommodate 3 car trains, but I appreciate having more transit options downtown.

It's finally open!
