It was an important day for me when one day, after smoking a joint on one of the huge empty plazas of #CenturyCity, I looked up at the two towers and realized that in those two high-rise triangular footprints, thousands of lawyers were imprisoned, their labor extracted as in #thematrix, though the movie hadn't yet been made.
