Read the wrong chapter for my Server+ class -.-

Luckily, I learned a nifty trick to make studying easier.

Before you start the chapter, go to the chapter review and take notes on that. As you go through the chapter, you already have the major points written down. This lets you focus on stuff you don't know or need to expand on.

Thinking about a $4000 course for CompTIA A+, NETWORK+, and SECURITY+ Certifications.
Also thinking about all the time and money I've spent on other certification (like the PMP and I'm including my BA) that didn't do anything for my career.

Tonight I learned that it appears #tailscale #ssl #certs do not auto renew like they do when using something like #acme with #letsencrypt. Whilst they are easy enough to renew, it is a shame it doesn't or at least that it doesn't even warn you it's about to expire. Yes, it is but a minor inconvenience. Isn't tech supposed to make things easier?? Hahaha.... That's rather rhetorical...

Wonder if I need to set up a cron job so I don't have to worry about it?

Any other ideas out there?

I think it is amazing when I try to configure #rsyslog to accept #tls via #gtls via #imtcp with #certs on a #ubuntu server. Then when I configure a rsyslog client without any certs configuration, I see this loglines on the rsyslog with certs passing. Weird. Next attempt is to deliver from rsyslog with certs to #logstash with certs. As last option switch to #filebeat
