At one point in my career, I used #cfml to scan 65,536 IP addresses for public web servers on standard ports. I was very good / very comfortable with #coldfusion, so I figured why not?

Cons of #cfml app development: Not as much work as PHP, ,Net or today's back end flavor of the day.
Pros of cfml development: Higher pay than PHP, .Net or whatever. It extends everything Java. Also integrates with damn near everything.

I was reading through the 2022 #StackOverflow survey. It is good to know that my skillset is reasonably popular?

If it was important to me, I probably wouldn't have spent a decade as a #CFML dev but it's good to know.
