It grows well here in Melbs, especially when it’s in a sunny location.
It blooms for weeks and dries really well for yonks as a dried bouquet, once cut and hung to dry.

They flower right on cue, given I saw another in #chadstone just now, that I’ll swing past one time to snap.

They’re a staple of any Australian garden this time of year but funny enough I haven’t seen many on display in my footpath travels, this summer… oh, they grown well here, as they do I believe in most warm parts of the world, but are native to eastern Africa, Kenya and Mozambique.

This 200 metre long walkway that adjoins #chadstoneshoppingcentre to #hotelchadstone is nothing but a visual hedonist’s delight.

I love the beams that bend to meet at the top of the ceiling and the repetitive layers of this structure as you look from one end to the other.
