Después de ver varias veces #BlackPantherWakandaForever, puedo decir que es la mejor película de la Fase 4 del MCU.
#WakandaForever es una continuación directa de la primera película estrenada en 2018, dirigida por Ryan Coogler, protagonizada por Letitia Wright, Angela Bassett, Lupita Nyong y Tenoch Huerta.
Partamos de los puntos que la hacen una gran pelicula. Y es que esta película en sí misma es un homenaje a uno de los personajes más queridos del Universo Cinematográfico de #Marvel, y que sirve también para rendirle un tributo al lamentable fallecimiento de Chadwick Boseman, esto hace que la cinta nos permita conectarnos profundamente con el personaje a nivel emocional.
Letitia Wright cómo Shuri, es la encargada de llevar el manto sagrado de la Pantera de ahora en adelante, pero no sin antes mostrarnos todo su proceso de duelo y crecimiento del personaje hasta madurar para realmente ser digna de convertirse en la nueva Pantera Negra.
Tenoch y Ángela Bassett lo hacen muy bien. Por un lado, tenemos un villano con raíces latinas que permite ofrecernos algo realmente dinámico en esta cinta, mientras que Basset nos entrega una actuación de Óscar, aunque al límite de la sobre actuación.
Y por último, la muestra de la ciudad de Talokan es una genialidad. Un espectáculo visual y cultural.
¿Lo malo?
El trabajo de VFX se ve incompleto. Algunas escenas se notan irreales y es como si los actores fuesen insertados o superpuestos en un render, lo que causa una molesta distracción.
Por otro lado, un guión que tiene varios vacíos y que da pie a qué aproximadamente 30-40 minutos de película sean rellenos, específicamente en la mitad de la cinta dónde hay un bajón y se hace excesivamente lenta, aunque al final termine fluyendo.
¿En general?
Es un muy bonito homenaje a #ChadwickBoseman y su actuación como la primera #PanteraNegra del UCM. El intro al comienzo de la película, y las escenas en retrospectiva al final, es para rompernos el corazón, pero Letitia Wright se encarga de recordarnos que ella seguirá con el legado y lo hará lo mejor que pueda.
