This is ostensibly unfair of me to draw such comparison, but tbh each time i read here some unsolicited post overtly asking to be #boosted, i think back to the Olde Worlde phenomenon of #ChainLetters, then #ChainEmails. It's an unflattering similarity, & sadly, much of the time it engenders a similar sense of disregard from me.
