I Iove wood. Yesterday I was a little tired and wonky, so a younger/stronger fella helped me collect and cut. So, that gave me some energy to move and stack today.

Then, clean the chainsaw housing & file those cutters & rakers, ready for next time.

I use battery saws these days, as I have a yoga and meditation studio nearby and also an art/painting studio, so it's about being mindful of their needs too.

If you've never used chainsaws and are thinking of getting one, feel free to ask questions. I'm quite experienced with them.

Time now to sit back with a cuppa and home grown eggs on toast - and mindfully watch my fish tank. I've been keeping fish for fifty years. I love the plant side of it, just as much as the fish. 🙏🔥🐟🌿

Good men. Nice men. Decent men. Kind of, the opposite to the bird site owner, it appears. My god, he has been posting some very questionable content of late.

Back to good men. I bumped into one today, whilst collecting firewood for next season. I'm just as comfortable talking about rakers and cutters as I am fashion, hair styles and Audrey Hepburn. I so, so love Audrey...

So, this good man and I had a lovely chat about all sorts of things - from mental health, online bullying, chainsaws, beautiful men and beautiful women - who we have mutual friendships with.

Good men. Thank bloody goodness there are some ripper ones out there. Lots of them.

As my dear old athletics coach used to say, 'Just be a good fella, mate. Whatever you grow up to be - just be a good fella.'
